Swinney: SNP 'not as cohesive as we should have been'
SNP leadership front-runner John Swinney has said the party "has not looked together" in recent years.
"We've not been as cohesive as we should have been," he told BBC Scotland's The Sunday Show. "That's been obvious to the public."
The former deputy first minister said that his party has "got to get ourselves together".
"I think I've got some of the unique strengths and capabilities to do that," he added.
