Somerset girl running in memory of friend who died of cancer
An 11-year-old girl is running a mile every morning before school in memory of a family friend who died from cancer.
Mia, from Queen Camel near Yeovil, Somerset, has already run the equivalent of two marathons and raised £8,000 for Sarcoma UK.
It comes after Lolly Gilmour died at the age of 42 from an uncommon cancer called Periosteal Osteosarcoma.
Mia said she is "proud" of her achievement.
