Butlin's in Minehead was hit by heavy rain

A Butlin's resort has been forced to close for a clean-up operation after chalets were flooded during heavy rain.

Thunderstorms led to flooding across Somerset, with Minehead particularly affected.

Butlin's said they were "very sorry" to anyone whose holiday had been affected by the four-day closure and full refunds would be made.
