Commonwealth Games batonbearer honour after heart transplant
A woman who was diagnosed with a rare heart condition that required a transplant is to carry the Commonwealth Games baton.
Sheron Williamson, from Birmingham, had to learn to walk again.
Next week The Queen's Baton will return to the West Midlands region ahead of the Games in the city.
One of the other batonbearers, Sebbie Hall, from Lichfield, Staffordshire, started fundraising two years ago.
Mr Hall has set up a foundation that helps lonely children and he is aiming to raise £45,000.
