A woman has been arrested on suspicion of a firearms offence after police raided a property in Lincoln.

Armed police were called to St Helen's Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate and is in custody, Lincolnshire Police said.

Officers remain at the scene while investigations continue.

The force said it was aware of pictures and videos circulating online and asked the public to avoid speculation.
