Search at town marina after reports person fell in

Police were called to Ipswich Waterfront on Tuesday afternoon

A search operation is under way at a town marina after reports a person fell into the water.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to assist police in the area of Helena Road at Ipswich Waterfront, Suffolk, at 15:18 BST.

The East of England Ambulance Service and HM Coastguard were also at the scene, the fire service said.

A part of the marina has been cordoned off.
