Artist turns 3,000 bucket hats into giant Oasis mural

An artist says his hands are in "a lot of pain" after creating a portrait of Liam and Noel Gallagher using 3,000 black and white bucket hats, ahead of the band's highly anticipated reunion tour.

The Gallagher brothers are set to play their first live gig together in nearly 16 years, taking the stage in Cardiff's Principality Stadium on 4 July.

Artist Nathan Wyburn, 35, said he felt "proud" that the iconic duo chose Wales to kick off their long-awaited reunion.

"The fact that one of the biggest duos in history are getting back together, I feel like it's my duty as an artist to create something for that," he added.

The mural, which is 16ft (4.9m) and has been dubbed the "Wonder Wall", was unveiled on Saturday during a pre-gig celebration at St David's shopping centre in Cardiff.
