Students 'shocked' by Ed Sheeran school visit
Students have described being "shocked" after pop superstar Ed Sheeran made a surprise visit to their Cardiff school on Thursday.
The Shape of You singer performed for a crowd of 2,000 at Fitzalan High School, before moving to a community centre in Splott.
"He gave us an inspirational speech about trying to work hard and no matter how much you fail just keep going," said Katie Brown, 17.
His appearance was part of the launch of the new Ed Sheeran Foundation, which advocates for the teaching of music in schools across the UK.
