Giant beanstalk sprouts for Trowbridge pantomime

A giant pantomime beanstalk is taking shape in a Wiltshire garden ahead of being used on stage later this year.

The centre of the five-metre high (16ft) beanstalk is made from a dog agility tunnel, with the leaves attached to the outside.

Ellen Wilkinson, from The Footlights theatre group in Trowbridge who will be performing Jack and the Beanstalk, started work on the creation back in March.

It has now grown so tall that scaffolding has been erected to support it.
