Watch as man attempts to rob hotel with toy bubble gun
A man who used a toy bubble gun and a bread knife in two attempted robberies has been jailed for six years and three months.
Timothy Cooper, 42, of Flax Mill Park, tried to rob Castle Hotel and Estcourt Jewellers in Devizes.
The first offence took place in February 2024, when Cooper entered the hotel wearing a face mask and demanded money, while pointing an object concealed in a tote bag at the victim.
He left empty-handed and Wiltshire Police officers later discovered he used a pink, plastic toy bubble gun.
