Emotional moment netball coach given posthumous Unsung Hero award

The parents of a netball coach who died of pancreatic cancer have received an Unsung Hero award on behalf of their daughter.

Chloe Gibson coached the Nottingham Cliftonettes and devoted her life to the sport for 25 years.

After helping to change the lives of thousands of girls, she died in June aged 40.

Her dad, Graham Gibson, who received the BBC East Midlands Today award on her behalf, said: "I just hope that her example will live in the lives of everybody."
