Hunstanton hovercraft commander loves being part of the RNLI
A hovercraft commander says there is no better felling than rescuing somebody and taking them back to their family.
Charlie Parfitt has been with the RNLI in Hunstanton for about 10 years and is thought to be the only female rescue hovercraft commander in the UK.
The charity is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year and Ms Parfitt said that while the technology has changed in that time, the ethos remained the same.
"It's still run by volunteers wanting to give up their time to go and help people," she said.
