Watch: Cathedral's first 2025 peregrine hatched
A camera used to monitor a pair of breeding peregrine falcons shows the first chick of the year hatched and fed by adult birds.
The first of the four eggs, laid on a special nesting site high up on Norwich Cathedral, hatched at about 04:00 BST on Saturday.
The Hawk and Owl Trust said about 260,000 people had already tuned in to watch the live feed of the birds of prey.
Liberty Wells, outreach and conservation ranger at the trust, said: "It's always remarkable to witness the moment peregrine falcon chicks hatch."
