Elections 2022 in the East of England: Your questions answered

Voters in many parts of the UK will have the chance to take part in elections on 5 May.

In England more than 4,000 council seats are being contested across 146 councils and in the East of England elections will be taking place across the region.

Andrew Sinclair and Ben Schofield from the BBC's Politics East had all the details, with special guest Prof Paul Whiteley from the University of Essex in a live stream event on Monday
