Manchester United fan who cried at FA Cup win over Liverpool meets heroes
A young Manchester United fan whose emotional reaction to the team's last-gasp victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup was widely shared on social media has been given the chance to meet his heroes.
Alfie's tearful response to Amad Diallo's extra-time winner in the quarter-final in February was caught on camera and shared around the world by joyous fellow fans.
However, he was all smiles when he and his family joined the team at their Carrington training ground ahead of their Premier League clash with the Reds on Sunday.
Alfie, who met with Diallo, United captain Bruno Fernandes and manager Erik ten Hag, said the day had been "perfect" and "absolutely amazing".
