Dog missing in Burton Dassett found thanks to drone
Owners of a cocker spaniel who was missing for five days have been reunited with their pet thanks to a drone.
Bow had disappeared in Burton Dassett in Warwickshire, but was rescued on Sunday after a jogger who was aware a dog was missing heard barking.
John Watton, from Drone SAR (search and rescue) For Lost Dogs UK, was alerted and took a thermal drone to the area, within minutes he "picked up a heat signature" from brambles.
Speaking about the subsequent reunion, Mr Watton, of Redditch, Worcestershire, said the owner was "in tears".
