Wolverhampton chefs teach restaurant-grade meals on a budget

Two Wolverhampton chefs are inspiring people from the city to cook healthy food on a budget.

Simon Clark and Prince Robinson are putting on the two-hour sessions at venues across the WV10 area of Wolverhampton to show that nutritious meals can still be served up despite a cost-of-living crisis.

WV10 Community Chefs, which was launched by WV10 Consortium and is now part-funded by Wolverhampton City Council, has hosted more than 200 sessions in the last six months.

WV10 Consortium is seven local organisations that deliver community-run centres and schemes in Bushbury, Low Hill and Park Village.

Organisers say they help about 200 households per year and there is currently a waiting list to get involved with the cookery sessions.
