Wolverhampton City Council says a £545k grant will help it form a plan to implement across the city.

Pupils will gather at Wolverhampton's Molineux Stadium on Wednesday.

The route to Manor Primary School will see new signs, speed cushions and dropped kerbs installed.

The city council says it aims to move to a model which focuses on the needs and outcomes people want.

A planning inspector says the three-storey flats would create "a visual imbalance" against smaller buildings on the street.

Limes Court Nursery School says the expansion will create another 16 early years places.

The verdict comes after Wolverhampton council was told by the government in 2021to improve services.

More than 200 young people will take part in a national football tournament at the club in June.
