Nottingham stabbings: Attacker needs life behind bars - Ian Coates's son
The sister of a man stabbed to death in Nottingham last year says she "just screamed" when she found out he had been killed.
School caretaker Ian Coates was one of three people killed by Valdo Calocane in the incident.
He was driving his van in Magdala Road when he was repeatedly stabbed, suffering wounds to his abdomen and chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Calocane has pleaded guilty to three counts of manslaughter on the basis of diminished responsibility, and is due to be sentenced on Thursday.
Mr Coates's sister Susan and sons Lee and James spoke to the BBC about the moment they found out he had been killed.
