People across the Isle of Man fall silent to remember those who lost their lives in conflicts.

Church services and commemoration will be held across the Isle of Man to mark Remembrance Sunday.

The scheduled works will see the A4 close during the day between Peel and Kirk Michael until Friday.

A western section of the A3 closed during the day on Monday so racing equipment could be taken away.

The inspector will report his findings to the government after taking oral and written evidence.

Several roads will see their speed limits reduced to 20mph as the works are rolled out island-wide.

The work sees temporary speed limits on part of the road from Peel to Kirk Michael for two weeks.

While some cafes and bars depend on the economic boost, others are forced to close during racing.
