Kevin Bodle died in hospital after the accident on the A75 near Glenluce in Dumfries and Galloway.

The 49-year-old man was taken to the Galloway Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The two-car accident near Glenluce shut the road for more than nine hours.
