A fifth person has been charged with murder after a 28-year-old was stabbed.

Jordan Hogg died in the early hours of 28 February on Fonteyn Court, in the Hemlington area of Middlesbrough.

Two 17-year-old boys and two men, aged 27 and 43, have already been charged with murder and remanded in custody until they appear at Teesside Crown Court on 4 April.

A 32-year-old man arrested on Wednesday has now also been charged with the same offence.

He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court later.

Cleveland Police said the extradition process was under way for a 28-year-old man arrested in France in connection with the investigation.

He was arrested earlier this month at a ferry port and remains in police custody.

A 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder was released on bail.
