Motorcyclist dies in hospital days after crash

A man in his 50s has died in hospital days after the motorbike he was riding reportedly crashed into a tree.

Norfolk Police said it happened on the A1066 at Brettenham, near Thetford, at 20:28 BST last Thursday, closing the road for more than six hours.

The motorcyclist was flown to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge by air ambulance but has since died from his injuries, the force added.

Police want anyone who witnessed how the Kawasaki was being ridden prior to the collision to contact them.
