Suspect hunted after man badly injured in stabbing

Police are hunting a suspect after a man was seriously injured in a stabbing in a town centre.

A cordon which is in place on Temple Street in Swindon is expected to remain into the evening.

The man has been taken to hospital and people are being urged to avoid the area.

"We are focusing on locating and arresting the suspect. Urgent inquiries are ongoing," Wiltshire Police said.
