Man struck on head with metal pole seriously hurt

A man has been seriously injured after he was struck on the head with a metal pole outside of a pub, police have said.
Officers were called to reports of a fight outside of The Harvey pub in Swindon at about 19:20 GMT on Wednesday.
A 19-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent. Two other women, both aged 20, have been arrested on suspicion of affray.
Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to contact them by calling 101.
