Trains back on track after week of disruption

Rail services between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International stations are back on track after a week of disruption.

Transport for Wales services ended at Wolverhampton between Saturday 16 and Friday 22 November due to a shortage of trains, the company said.

"Our fleet engineers have been working round the clock to rectify the problems, and we are pleased to say the situation has improved this week," it added.

The lack of service was criticised by Labour's Shaun Davies, who represents Telford, who said it was "unacceptable".
