Money-saving expert Martin Lewis has appealed to the public for information after a former colleague was reported missing.

Norfolk Police said Anthony Hill, 37, was last seen at 07:45 BST on Monday after leaving his home on Plumstead Road East in Norwich.

Lewis shared the appeal by Norfolk Police on social media and said the news was "devastating".

Mr Hill is 5ft 7in (1.70m) of slim build and with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing brown chino trousers, a black-checked shirt, a green coat and carrying a yellow rucksack.

Mr Lewis said Mr Hill left Money Saving Experts in 2020 to pursue dreams of becoming a teacher.

“It was always a pleasure to have him in the office," he said.

"I worked with him on lots of different things over the years and it is just quite distressing to hear this news if I’m really honest with you.

"He is always great to work with, [he] worked hard [and was] really dedicated, he was into helping people and helping them save money and went on to be a teacher.

"We just need people to keep an eye out for him."

Mr Lewis urged anyone who might have more information to get in touch with police.

“This is a lovely man who has many friends and many colleges who has his wife and daughters – there is a lot of people very worried about him,” he added.

Norfolk Police said it was concerned for Mr Hill's welfare and appealed for information from anyone who may have seen him, or who may know his current whereabouts.
