Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in crash

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car.

The blue Yamaha motorbike collided with a blue VW Scirocco at the junction of Kirby Road and Trumpery Lane in Kirby Bedon, Norfolk, at about 16:15 BST on Thursday.

The rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The road was closed for about two hours and Norfolk Police appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
