'No sentence can bring back our son,' says Daniel Anjorin's father
The father of schoolboy Daniel Anjorin has said he is "grateful that justice has been served" following the sentencing of his son's killer.
Marcus Monzo fatally wounded the schoolboy minutes after he left his home in Hainault on 30 April last year.
Speaking outside the Old Bailey on behalf of his family, Dr Ebenezer Anjorin told reporters: "No verdict or sentence can bring back our son". Daniel's mother could be seen standing to his left.
"Daniel was taken from us in a way that no family should ever have to endure. His life had so much potential ahead," he added.
