Could your energy bill be about to drop?
Energy firms will be forced to offer customers tariffs with no standing charges, under a proposed shake-up of bills by regulator Ofgem.
Currently, all households pay the fixed daily charges in addition to their usage fees, but there have been repeated calls for the fees to be scrapped.
Instead, Ofgem is planning to give people more payment options, offering one price-capped tariff that includes the standing charge and another that loads these costs on energy usage charges.
But will it save billpayers any money? BBC Wales reporter Terel Edmunds has the details.
