American's Eisteddfod trip to trace his heritage
American Peter Macy, whose grandmother was from Merthyr Tydfil, says he is at the Urdd Eisteddfod to discover his heritage.
The self-proclaimed "honorary Welshman" and online streamer is being helped by Welsh YouTuber Connor Colquhoun, who is spending five days showing him around Wales.
The pair will head to Mr Macy's grandmother's home town next, where they have hired a genealogy expert to tell him more about his family history and even determine whether he is more Welsh than his local host.
"I couldn't be happier to be one tenth Welsh, or whatever part I am," Mr Macy said.
