I can't believe I let my husband go to war
The wife of a soldier has spoken of the heartbreaking wrench of seeing her husband return to war in Afghanistan.
Jess Jenkinson said she could not understand the loyalty Jonathan Jenkinson, a colour sergeant with the Welsh Guards, felt toward colleagues "versus your wife and children".
He was back home after sustaining an injury.
"That day taking you with the children down to Brize Norton and waving you off was probably the worst," Ms Jenkinson said.
Everyone, said Sgt Jenkinson, was crying.
"I can remember you walking into that terminal and thinking 'I can't believe I'm actually leaving him'," Ms Jenkinson said.
