'I've come to accept this is who I am now'

Thirty people living with cancer have shared their experiences in a new book which aims to support others.

The Cancer Club was written by Nicola Wood, from Sunderland, who runs a company that makes wigs to help people deal with hair loss.

She started the business after being diagnosed with breast cancer aged 36 and vouchers given by the NHS can be spent at the salons in Sunderland, Newcastle and Carlisle.

On World Cancer Day, Ms Wood told the BBC her book aims to help people who may not be comfortable attending a support group.
