Housework: Archive TV advises 'tired housewives' to sit down
Most people think housework should be shared, but it is still mostly done by women, according to a new survey.
Attitudes at least have come a long way since this1968 footage of women tidying was filmed.
It warns them against getting too tired from cleaning.
"What you should do then is really have rest, a sit down, change whatever you are doing," it cautioned.
