Swansea: £1m saving from Morriston Hospital solar farm

A Welsh hospital has become the first in the UK to be directly powered by its own solar farm.

The original aim was to save the hospital £480,000 a year, but increasing energy prices mean savings have doubled to around £1 million.

The hospital is now looking to extend its dedicated solar farm and build a battery to store more energy.
