Pembrokeshire woman injured in American bulldog attack
A woman has suffered serious injuries after being bitten by a family dog.
Dyfed-Powys Police said she was airlifted from the Stop and Call area of Goodwick, Pembrokeshire, to Swansea's Morriston Hospital after the attack on 10 August.
A spokesman said it was investigating and there had been no other reports regarding the American bulldog.
He added: "In accordance with the wishes of the family, the dog was taken to a vet and put down."
No arrests have so far been made and police said the American bulldog involved was not a type prohibited from people owning under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
