M4 crash: Police shut motorway after pedestrian dies

Part of the M4 motorway has been closed in south Wales after a pedestrian was struck by a lorry in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

South Wales Police said the man was struck by an articulated lorry near Cardiff at about 03:45 GMT and died at the scene.

The motorway was initially shut in both directions between junctions 29 and 32, but the eastbound carriageway has since reopened.
