Man in court accused of murdering brother in Thornhill

A man has appeared in court accused of murdering his brother following an incident in a Stirlingshire village last month.
Boan D'Arc, 59, is accused of the murder of 56-year-old Jamieson McLelland who died in hospital on 23 January.
His death followed an incident alleged to have occurred in a house in Thornhill, near Stirling, on 6 January.
Mr D'Arc made no plea during a private hearing at Stirling Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Derek Hamilton committed him for further examination and remanded him in custody.
He will appear in court again next week.
