Self-taught Scots filmmaker debuts gangland comedy

A Lanarkshire film-maker has released his first film at the Glasgow Film Festival.

Paul Morris - who wrote, directed and starred in Angry Young Men - made the film on a tiny self-funded budget and recruited volunteer actors from local youth theatre groups.

Shot on the streets of Hamilton, the film is set in a fictional town and explores a surreal world of gang culture.
