Paul Givan: DUP MLA announced as NI's new first minister

Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) MLA Paul Givan has been announced as the new first minister for Northern Ireland.

His party leader Edwin Poots made the selection.

Mr Givan is due to be officially appointed next Monday.
