Car meets: How underground street racing is fuelling safety fears

The underground world of car meets faces crackdowns from police forces targeting antisocial driving.

Street racing is a popular - and polarising - pastime for young people, often taking place on industrial estates late at night.

The police crackdown is not just aimed at protecting local residents but also spectators and participants, after at least four were killed in car crashes within the last two years.

BBC South East's Investigations Team was given access to a car meet on the outskirts of Gatwick Airport.
