Suffolk: Appeal to trace lorry driver after A14 crash
GooglePolice have been trying to find a lorry driver whose actions when pulling out of a layby were thought to have led to a three-vehicle crash.
Officers were called at approximately 15:35 GMT on Wednesday to reports of a collision involving two lorries and a white Toyota Auris on the A14 eastbound at Creeting St Mary, Suffolk.
One of the lorry drivers, a man, was extracted from the vehicle and airlifted to hospital in Cambridge.
Police have appealed for information.
It is understood the collision occurred after a fourth vehicle, another lorry, pulled out from a layby leading the other vehicles to collide.
The female driver of the Toyota was taken to Ipswich Hospital.
None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The eastbound carriageway was closed for more than six hours.
The driver did not stop at the scene.
Officers have appealed for information to identify the driver and any witnesses, and for anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
