Two dead after crash involving car and ambulance in Suffolk

Two people who were seriously injured in a crash between an ambulance and a car have died.
The collision happened on the B1506 between Kentford and Newmarket in Suffolk, closing the road overnight.
Suffolk Constabulary said a passenger in the ambulance, a man in his 90s, and the driver of the car, a woman in her 70s, have died.
The female driver of the ambulance was also seriously injured and remained at Addenbrookes Hospital for treatment.
A second ambulance passenger had minor injuries.
The driver of the car, a blue Volkswagen Golf, was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Officers have renewed an appeal for dashcam footage of the crash, which happened at 19:30 GMT on December 19.
