Staffordshire nature project helping kids' mental health

A wildlife trust is encouraging children to spend more time experiencing nature in a bid to improve emotional wellbeing.

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust says it has never been more important to help children because many suffered during the coronavirus lockdown.

Its Wild Wellbeing sessions are helping up to 20,000 children a year, it says.

Pupils from Beresford Memorial First School in Leek said they had felt the benefits of taking part.
