Shropshire telegraph pole catches fire during the night

Firefighters tackled a telegraph pole blaze in Shropshire during the night.

Crews were called to Bomere Heath at 00:15 GMT on Friday and the fire was brought under control within an hour.

A transformer box was destroyed and police and a utility company were also at the scene, the fire service said.
