Sir Bobby Charlton: Funeral for Manchester United and England icon 'very emotional'
Family, fans and footballers have bid a final farewell to Manchester United and England legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
About 1,000 mourners paid their respects to one of the game's all-time greats at his funeral.
Crowds lined the streets as the cortège arrived at Old Trafford to rounds of applause before it travelled on to Manchester Cathedral.
The star, who made 758 appearances for the club and 106 for his country, died at the age of 86 on 21 October.
Gary Lineker, who sits one place behind Sir Bobby in the list of England's top goalscorers, said it had been an "very emotional" day which had seen "a lot of affection for a great man".
