Thomas Cook customers react to holiday firm collapse

Passengers at airports in England have shared their stories after the collapse of travel firm Thomas Cook.

The final scheduled flight landed in the UK at Manchester earlier.

One passenger who was on the plane said as soon as it landed people were "crying".

Meanwhile at Gatwick Airport, one couple told the BBC they were missing their honeymoon to Mexico.

A Thomas Cook staff member, who left the Peterborough headquarters, said "livelihoods have just gone overnight".

The company collapsed after last-minute negotiations aimed at saving the 178-year-old holiday firm failed.
