Aerial view of International Bomber Command Centre memorial

The International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln is a place to remember the 58,000 men and women who lost their lives serving or supporting Bomber Command in World War Two.

The memorial spire is 31m (102ft) tall - the same as the wingspan of the Lancaster Bomber.

The centre, which opens to the public in February, has been beset by funding problems and delays.
