Yorkshire Dialect Society teaching people to speak proper Tyke
A classroom course is teaching people how to speak 'Yorkshire'.
The sessions, organised by the Yorkshire Dialect Society, have taken place at Keighley Library over the last six weeks.
Rod Dimbleby, chairman of the society, said: "We've been saying we've been losing it since the back end of the 19th Century.
"It's such a lovely language, it's so colourful. It's so expressive and it's just wonderful for storytelling."
