Romney Marsh is a wild and sparsely populated environment straddling the Kent-East Sussex border.

For those who know where to look, the rugged landscape can provide ingredients for great food.

For the latest in BBC South East Today's On the Map series, Sara Thornton went foraging with Claire Bruce, who used locally gathered fruit and berries in her run to the semi-finals of the BBC series Masterchef.
